International Forum of Nepali Ghazal has honoured Ghazalist Bund Rana and musician Santosh Shrestha.
At a programme organised here on Friday on the occasion of the 151st birth anniversary of Motiram Bhatta, Vice-Chancellor at the Nepal Academy Dr. Bishnu Bibhu Ghimire honoured Rana with ‘Motiram Ghazal Sadhana Samman’ while Shrestha with ‘Seturam Sangeet Sadhana Samman-2073’. Each award carries a purse of Rs 5,000.

On the occasion, Ghimire said that there was a great contribution of Motiram Bhatta for the overall development of Nepali literature.

Lokendra Banjara’s ghazal ‘Jaitun’ and Dr. Hari Kumar Shrestha’s Ghazals — ‘Aankura’ and ‘Taranga’ were released.
