Former Prime Minister and Coordinator of Naya Shakti Party Nepal Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has said that the economy of the hilly region was in poor status.

Addressing the party’s event named ‘Janasambad Yatra-2075’ at Bidur on Saturday, the former PM said that the agro-based economy was gradually degrading in the hilly region in the recent years though some signs of reforms were spotted following the development of Midhill Pushpalal Highway.

The party has launched a public dialogue campaign across the country aimed at awakening the youth in the developmental activities. It is stated that the campaign will reach in Dhading on Sunday.
