Industry Minister Som Prasad Pandey inaugurated a milk collection and processing industry established by Small Farmers Agriculture Cooperative Organization Bhodahad amid a function on Wednesday.

On the occasion, he said the agriculture development can make the country’s development possible. The Minister shared that the government has the plan to run Birgunj Sugar Mill and Agriculture Inputs Industry on lease by involving interested private companies.

The government has the goal to substitute the import of agro products, he said, adding high priority will be placed for the industrialization by promoting hydropower, tourism and agriculture.
