Rs 500,000 aided to Chepang Centre

Ratnanagar (Chitwan), April 27: Chairperson of Aama Foudnation Nepal Gauri Joshi on Tuesday extended financial assistance of Rs 500,000 to the revolving fund set up at Chepang Protection Centre in Gambesi of Ratnanagar-10.
She announced her financial contribution to the revolving fund instituted for providing education and livelihood of Chepang children.
Joshi, a local of Ratnanagar, who is in the United States since long, has been providing financial assistance in the social service.
She also donated 10 packets of rice to the Chepang children relying on the centre after she knew the lack of food for the helpless children.
She has pledged to continue her support in coming days as well.
As many as 140 Chepang children brought from different parts are pursuing their education in the centre.
Centre Chairperson KP Sharma said the aid receiving from donors living in and outside the country is the source of funding to operate the centre.
Meanwhile, free health check-up services were provided to more than 500 Chepang children and local people in a camp jointly organized by Aama Foundation, Rotary Club of Ratnanagar and Chepang Protection Centre Gambesi on Tuesday. RSS
