Political parties based in Bhojpur district have demanded 12 local units in the district.

A joint meeting of Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), CPN (Maoist Centre), Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Khumbuwan Rastriya Morcha Nepal, held on Friday decided to make one dozen of local units on the basis of population and geographical condition.

Local Bodies Restructuring Technical Coordination Committee had proposed eights village municipals. The State Restructuring Commission has proposed 5 hundred 65 local units across the nation.
