Bhimduttanagar, May 8: Gajendra Bahadur Chand has been re-elected as the chairperson of Kanchanpur Contractors Association.
The 25th convention of the Association held on Saturday elected Chand to the post.
Chand defeated his close contender Rajendra Thapa by 10 votes.
Chairperson Chand received 142 votes against Thapa’s 132. Likewise, Niranjan Prasad Bhatta was elected unopposed to the post of senior Vice-Chairperson. Other elected in the committee are Pushpa Raj Awasthi (Vice-chairperson) and Laxman Dutta Lekhak (general secretary). RSS
