A minor was killed in a road accident at Ratnanagar in Chitwan district on Friday evening.
The deceased has been identified as two-year old Anup Chaudhary, son of a local Bishwonath Chaudhary, said Superintendent of Police, Basanta Kunwar.
According to the District Police office, Chitwan, the accident took place when a school bus (Ba 1 Kha 6606) hit the child at Ratnanagar-11. The child died on the way to Bharatpur for treatment. The driver has been absconding and Police, however, have impounded the vehicle, added Kunwar.
Search for the driver was underway. The body of the child has been kept at Bharatpur Hospital for postmortem. RSS
