Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel has said the coming budget would be people-oriented, and it would not be influenced by bigwigs.

At a programme organized by the Morang Trade Association and Industry Organization here Friday, Minister Poudel said the budget for the next fiscal year would come by the end of May and it would be investment friendly.

The politics, after the promulgation of the constitution, should focus country’s progress and development, he said, adding that government was ready to solve private sector problems through discussion.

On the occasion, Secretary at Finance Ministry, Rajan Khanal, pointed out the need that the private sector should be transparent.

Similarly, Chairman of the FNCCI Pashupati Murarka said the last year’s earthquake and the Madhes agitation have created huge dent on nation’s business, so the coming budget should be industry and investment friendly. RSS
