The Pandit Teknath Shiwa Adhikari Literary Culture Award has been presented to Maniraj Joshi of Kailali, Dhangadhi.
Joshi was honoured with cash prize of Rs 10,000, a copper plaque and a shawl amidst a function organized by the Purbanchal Sahitya Pratisthan in Biratnagar.
Chief Guest at the programm, linguist Bal Krishna Pokharel awarded the honour to literary figure and culture expert Joshi.
Pratisthan Chairperson Bibas Pokharel presided over the programme.
On the occasion, chief guest Pokharel also honoured Praveena Kharel who did her dissertation on the late Teknath Adhikari.
