Nepal’s biggest lake, Rara, has become a popular destination for both internal and external tourists with access to road reaching there.
It may take some more time to gain popularity at every levels. However, the number of people visiting Rara during 2 weeks after Dashain this year has reached around 2 thausand 6 hundred.
In this context, tourism entrepreneur Gopal Bam said, “There was no mobility of tourists during rainy season. But, this time around, daily 1 hundred 50 to 2 hundred tourists have reportedly visited the Rara Lake after 2 days of great Dashain festival”.
With huge outbound of tourists to the area, it ahs become tough for the tourism entrepreneurs here in managing their services.
More of the tourists visiting the lake this season are domestic, he informed. Among them also, more are from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Pokhara, Chitwan, Bhairahawa, Butwal, Surkhet and some eastern districts.
