Agriculture scientist Ujjwal KRS Kushawaha serving with Nepal Agriculture Research Centre (NARC) has been awarded recognition of ‘E-Life Ambassador’ for the year 2018.
Kushawaha who was born in Sarlahi had come to limelight in 2016 after he authored a book ‘Black Rice: Research, History and Development’. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD at Govinda Ballav Pant Agriculture and Technology University in India on heredity and crop breeding.
Kushawaha has so far more than four dozen research-based papers published in different international journals. He has received a dozen of national and international awards in this field. He was given away ‘the best paper award’ in the conference of scientists held in India on November 2017.
